Grrrrrrrreat!

Fun and fantastically polished. Playable in tiny bits, yet its got long-term depth. Highly recommended!

Fun

I started cracking up when I had to grind on level 2 to get to level 3. Fun game, and way underpriced.

Not Bad

Harder than I was expecting, and repetitive like many roguelikes, but good art and fun overall.

Once youre in, youre IN

Honestly, one of the most fun games Ive played in the last few months. Takes some attention to figure out the vagaries, but after that its simply fun, fun, fun. Style, music, approach, I am just loving this game. Im already a few hours in and I dont want to stop. Kudos to an excellent crawler/RPG/rogue-ish game.

I really thought it was great until...

I get stuck in a thin hallway with an unkillable bug in the way! This has forced so many of my runs to end unfairly!

Crash iPhone 5

When I play the endless dungeons I keep crashing 5-7 levels in and I lose all progress and have to start over. It makes me sad because this is such an amazing game otherwise.

Fun retro dungeon crawler!

Its retro but with a fresh art angle to it. In any case, its not all looks. The game has a solid RPG dungeon crawler feel. It took me a while to learn the game dynamics and controls. But once you get it. The fun really cranks up! I like how each area to explore doesnt take an extraordinary amount of time. As a casual gamer, I can play if I have only 15 min. But, as I have proven so far, I can drop hours into this game without issue. Highly recommended indie game!

This IS a sleeper hit

I dont write reviews unless the game rewards me for doing so. But I just had to give this game mad props. :D *****

Grab it!

Well worth the 2 bucks

Great game but crashes frequently

Great Rouge-like game with nice retro style graphics with some updates that make the game more accessible and enjoyable to play without removing the challenge and difficulty. Hard to put this game down once you start. The irritating downside is the game crashes frequently. While it didnt happen much early on, Ive found in the last(?) dungeon, forest number 10 once you go down a few levels the game crashes randomly about every 7-10 minutes which is frustrating as this is about how long it takes to get to the challenging parts Suggestion to the developer - add an autosave function at least per level so if it crashes at least a player can return to the last level they were playing on instead of hacking all the way down again.

Addicted!!

I cannot stop playing this game. Im starting to get anxious about finishing it--what will I do with my life then? Occasionally crashes, though, on the long levels with lots of monsters.

Very fun!

I am really enjoying this game! Highly recommended. Just buy it

Outstanding

Deceptively simple looking, this game has incredible depth, a crisp colorful art style, and tons of challenge without being frustrating. Great for rogue like novices, and anyone else that wants a dungeon crawl that requires brains more than stats.

Poor

Poorly made. Lots of situations where death is unavoidable. Many maps require replaying at a loss of all gains until conditions line up. Glowing reviews very misleading.

Excellent

Gratuitously geeky, ferociously fun -- frankly, the ultimate neuvo-retro quasi-roguelike-in-your-pocket experience. Perfect in bite-size chunks as well as epic night-long adventures. You need this game more than you need two dollars. Its a no-brainier.

Great Game

The game is amazing and has a lot of content. My only complaint is that the boss fights should be harder. Its kinda anticlimactic when you one shot all the bosses.

was skeptical, not anymore.

now this is the kind of game ive been looking for.

Excellent

Its rare for a game to so perfectly execute on its design.

Surprising depth.

Its the little touches that make this game stand out. Tap on the list of actions at the top and a longer list fills the screen so you can see farther back. Sliding alllllll the way across the ice till you hit the wall. Great game worth every penny and then some. The ability to pick it up, play five minutes and then get back to work means I wind up playing it more often than other more "featured in the app store" games.

Hours and hours of tricky fun

An elegant, pretty, tactical RPG. Probably the first ios game Ive played all the way to the end.
